Wrapping up a successful year of pulmonary hypertension knowledge-sharing educational live web events!

The Alliance for Pulmonary Hypertension has just held the last webinar of the six-part series it launched in June 2023 exploring the innovations outlined in the 2022 joint clinical guidelines on pulmonary hypertension by the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) and the European Respiratory Society (ERS).

Across these six insightful sessions, we delved into pivotal topics shaping the landscape of pulmonary hypertension care. These included the paradigm shift toward viewing patients as partners in pulmonary hypertension care, the unveiling of a new treatment algorithm, a comprehensive look at the multimodal treatment strategy for chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension, a fresh perspective on pulmonary hypertension and family planning, the introduction of sections dedicated to patient reported outcome measures (PROMS), patient associations and patient empowerment.

We believe these webinars have contributed to fostering a deeper understanding of the evolving standards and practices in pulmonary hypertension.

A heartfelt thank you to all our esteemed speakers, world-leading experts in the field, for sharing their invaluable insights.

Special appreciation to our moderators, Andreas Reimann and Robert Pleticha from admedicum, for skillfully guiding us through these enlightening discussions.

We extend our gratitude also to our President, Board, Members, Secretary General, our volunteers, and all the members of the pulmonary hypertension patient and scientific community who have contributed to our journey. Your dedication has been the driving force behind our collaborative efforts.
