The “Pulmonary Hypertension Knowledge Sharing Platform“ (PH-KSP) is managed by the “Alliance for Pulmonary Hypertension” (AfPH), registered in Brussels, Belgium, as an international non profit organisation, IVZW (Internationale Vereniging Zonder Winstoogmerk), under Belgian law. The registration is published in the Belgian Official Journal (Belgish Staatsblad) at the Reg. n°. 0757534861. The AfPH has its offices in Washingtonstraat 40, 1050 Elsene, Belgium.

Article 1 – Description of the platform

The PH-KSP is a online interactive platform whose aim is to share knowledge, information, skills and best practices in the field of pulmonary hypertension (PH) with stakeholders around the world interested in improving the lives of PH patients, their families and communities.

Article 2 – Using the platform

Users of the PH-KSP can find and/or share pulmonary hypertension information in a variety of languages and formats.. Anyone interested in pulmonary hypertension can use the platform.

Article 3 – User content

The PH-KSP enables you to share your content through the Share knowledge form with the platform, its administrators, and/or other users. By submitting User Content and the necessary authorisation(s) you grant the AfPH authorisation to publish it on the PH-KSP website and share it on other communication channels it manages (including social media). You are responsible for the User Content you share.

The responsability for any comments on the User Content posted on the PH-KSP (where applicable) will remain the responsability of their authors.

Article 4 – Third party content

Third Party Content, materials and links are provided on the PH-KSP website for informational purposes only. All intellectual property rights in, and responsibility for the accuracy, usefulness, reliability of Third Party Content remain with their authors and/or owners. The views expressed in such Third Party Content do necessarily represent those of the AfPH.

Certain reference documents, articles, or other information on the platform may be used with the permission of third parties, and use of that information is subject to certain rules and conditions, which will be posted along with the information. By using the Platform you agree to abide by all such rules and conditions.

Article 5 – Security

The AfPH will take the utmost care with your data but cannot guarantee that unauthorized third parties will not be able to defeat its security measures.

Article 6 – Privacy

Your use of the Platform is subject to the PH-KSP Privacy Policy.

Article 7 – Use of the PH-KSP name and logo

All rights for the AfPH and PH-KSP names and logos remain with the AfPH.

Article 8 – Content disclaimer

The information contained on this website is for general use only. The AfPH cannot be held responsible for any action taken as a result of viewing any materials from it. Every possible effort has been taken to ensure that the PH-KSP website content is accurate and up-to-date (see also our Content curation policy but its content may express opinions of experts that are the best knowledge at the time of publication but may later be outdated, and materials may otherwise be inaccurate or incomplete. We invite users to consult with their health care professionals before making any decisions based upon them.

Any mention of specific companies or products in the PH-KSP does not imply that they are endorsed or recommended by the AfPH.

Article 9 – Limitation of the AfPH’s liability

The AfPH shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising directly or indirectly in connection with, or resulting from, your use of the PH-KSP.

Article 9 – Changes in the Terms of Use

The AfPH reserves the right to make changes and updates to these Terms of Use by posting updated Terms of Use on the PH-KSP website.

Article 10 – Dispute resolution

Any dispute relating to the interpretation or application of these Terms of Use or your use of the PH-KSP in any other respect shall be settled under the relevant provisions of Belgian law by the competent courts in Brussels.
