September was a busy month in the pulmonary hypertension world, with the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) and European Respiratory Society Congresses (ERS) bringing a wave of new research. The most important news is the update of the ERS Clinical Practice Guidelines for the treatment of pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH), presented in Barcelona. AfPH Vice President Louise Bouman reported for us from both congresses. This month also brought promising clinical trial results, new research on a wide range of topics, from treatment decisions to cognitive symptoms, and news from patient communities around the world. On our side, we held our webinar on how science and artificial intelligence can improve pulmonary arterial hypertension care, and launched five new PEP Talks.
As always, the platform brings together the latest science, patient resources and community news, freely available to all. If you haven’t joined yet, we warmly invite you to do so. 🌍
