PHA Europe, the European Pulmonary Hypertension Association, is offering training courses on Health Technology Assessment. (HTA) and Policy work. The first training session took place on June the 5th, 2024, and two more are scheduled before the end of the year:
- October 16th at 6:30 p.m. CET (18:30)
- November 7th at 2:30 p.m. CET (18:30)
The speaker, Niels Bertelsen, is (volunteer) past chair of the Health Technology Assessment International (HTAi) Patient and Citizen Involvement Group, where he is still an active member of the steering committee. This is a group of international experts, including patient organisations, HTA bodies, researchers and industry members that are determined to enable a future where patient and citizen involvement in the healthcare reimbursement decisions becomes the norm, not the exception. He is also a board member of PFMD (Patient Focused Medicine Development), where the focus is on working collaboratively internationally, across multiple stakeholders to make patient engagement in medicines a sustainable reality.
