In the past few months, the European Society for Organ Transplant (ESOT) channels have been running a campaign called “Take 2 – the new Me after a transplant”. The campaign seeks to empower patients by offering them valuable and reliable information and resources that can enhance their pre and post-transplant journey and raise public attention to the challenges of the transplantation journey.
The campaign is about kidney transplants but most of the content is also very relevant to lung and heart-lung transplantation.
The campaigns presents informative a number of edcuational posts offering insights into the conditions of transplant recipients. It also narrates the journeys of individuals post-transplant, emphasizing the array of new possibilities that unfold for them. This narrative celebrates the “Take 2” phase of their lives, showcasing both the triumphs and challenges they face along the way.
The European Society for Organ Transplant has promoted this awareness campaign with the unconditional unrestricted grant of Chiesi.
