Launch of the “Patient Engagement Resource Center” (PERC), a platform to promote patient engagement in research

The Patient Engagement Resource Centre (PERC) has selected relevant public resources to help translational researchers understand the basics of patient engagement, and guide them through the different phases of patient engagement: from planning to conducting and evaluating.

The platform is addressed to researchers but it is also a practical tool for patients to access and promote to the researchers they work with. The PERC also features video stories of researchers, patients and carers who worked together and a FAQ section. Check the PERC website at this link

The PERC is a joint initiative from the European Research Infrastructure for Translational Medicine (EATRIS), the European Patients’ Forum (EPF) and the European Aids Treatment Group (EATG), funded by the Horizon 2020 funded project, EATRIS-Plus.
