Impressive numbers for the latest edition of World Pulmonary Hypertension Day: full report in the summer 2024 edition of Mariposa, PHA Europe’s journal

World Pulmonary Hypertension Day (May 5) is increasingly becoming a pivotal global event for raising awareness about the condition and advocate for improved care, as highlighted by the impressive figures shared in the latest edition of PHA Europe’s magazine, Mariposa.

Launched by the Asociación Nacional de Hipertensión Pulmonar ANHP in 2012, World PH Day is coordinated by PHA Europe which provides a range of materials, including visuals, infographics, and animated reels, which can be adapted and translated by local patient associations to reach communities in their own languages.

The 2024 World PH Day is expected to be the most successful yet:

🔹 Twenty-one PHA Europe members sent reports of their activities
🔹 Reports were also submitted by Argentina, Canada, Nigeria, Peru, and USA
🔹 Over 3.5 million users engaged with PHA Europe’s social media channels during the campaign
🔹 4.2 million impressions across Facebook and Instagram
🔹 An additional 95,000 users from LinkedIn and X, with nearly 45,000 reached organically
