“To be honest, this was not something I expected, so I am both pleasantly surprised and grateful for the trust that has been placed in me. In this role, I will do my utmost to represent and advocate for the shared interests of all PAGs (Patient Advisory Groups) within the Council. I look forward to actively working on the topics that matter most to our communities, fostering collaboration, and helping to ensure that our collective voice is heard. I am excited to work alongside my fellow colleagues within the European Lung Foundation and contribute to the important work ahead. Thank you to everyone for your confidence and support ❤️

I also want to take this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude for everything Helen Parks has done as Chair. Her dedication, leadership, and commitment to the UPAG has been truly remarkable, and I know her shoes will be very hard to fill. I very much look forward to working closely with her in the period ahead!”
