The 2023 awareness campaign “Viaggio alla scoperta della PAH” (A trip to discover pulmonary arterial hypertension), has won the Life Sciences Excellence award for the “Best Patient Advocacy Digital Campaign of the Year”!
A very important recognition for this collaborative effort by AIPI Italian Pulmonary Hypertension Association, AMIP Associazione Malati Ipertensione Polmonare, GILS – Gruppo Italiano per la Lotta alla Sclerodermia and AICCA Onlus and J&J Innovative Medicine Italia!
The success of the campaign exemplifies the immense value of uniting patients, advocacy organizations, and industry partners toward the common goal of amplifying awareness of pulmonary arterial hypertension and its impact on individuals and communities. Through open dialogue, mutual respect, and collective action, these partnerships foster a culture of collaboration and innovation that drives meaningful change and improves outcomes for patients.
The campaign touched several Italian cities, in each of which interviews were conducted with health care professionals, patients and patient association representatives to discuss different aspects of life with pulmonary arterial hypertension.
