A delightful children’s book titled “Casper – the Bear with Blue Lips” debuted on September 30, 2023, at 11:30 a.m. in Bulgaria’s literary club “Peroto” within the National Palace of Culture (NDK). Authored by Natalia Maeva, an accomplished journalist and (former) patient, President of the Bulgarian Society for Pulmonary Hypertension BSPPH, the book introduces young readers aged 4 to 10 to pulmonary hypertension through captivating illustrations by Denitsa Uzunova.
This narrative, with its gentle and compelling approach, aims to imbue hope and optimism in those courageously facing it and raise awareness of the condition among a broader audience.
The book will be distributed free of charge to kindergartens and schools in the capital city. It is currently being translated into Croatian, Bosnian, and Slovenian.
